Dashoguz Airport, Turkmenistan (ICAO: UTAT)

Dashoguz Airport presents a 3800 mt. long runway, equipped with two precision approach category II and III lighting systems for both directions. All of the runway, taxiways and links have a rigid pavement with concrete slabs.

The main tasks concerned:

-Design of primary and secondary cable ducts for AGL systems;

-Design of transformer stations and electric board;

-Design of the ducts for the Weather system and ILS system, their basements and the study of their position in the airport.

The design of AGL systems also included the study and the exact location of all the light signals and light tables by means of coordinates.

Concerning the manholes of the AGL systems, it has been worked out a way such both processors and the power cables of the AGL signals and passing through primary cables could fit in in-situ casted concrete cylindrical manholes.

The project also included an in-depht study of PAPI systems for their exact location.
